Grammar
For the grammar part, there was a new type of question that asked which sentence needed to be deleted to maintain unity in a paragraph.
The grammar section (the 25 minute section, not the 10-minute one at the end) started with sentence improvement questions, then error identification, and ended with a single paragraph improvement question.
The 10-minute grammar section always seems to include a sentence improvement question.
The test I took had no combining sentence question, which is considered to be the most difficult type of question by second-language-speakers of English because it requires competence in so many different grammatical disciplines. However, the Official SAT Study Guide did have many sentence combining problems.
